Why is the "Star of David" associated with magick, and sometimes demonology? by Jason Corning
Answer by Jason Corning:
Even practitioners of the Occult (witches, warlocks, magicians) know the difference between good and evil. This is clearly evident in the way they utilize the Star of David. They never use this symbol to cast evil spells or curses. Instead it is literally always used to protect themselves from angry demons which they summon using magick spells. Since this symbol is used by those who practice magick in order to subdue and control evil spirits, then by their very own actions they are admitting it is a symbol of goodness that protect those who use it from the forces of evil. How so? Because only a good symbol (the opposite of an evil symbol) would have the power of protection against evil.
An evil symbol would never be able to stop a demon from attacking, the demon would simply laugh and continue attacking because not only are they evil, they are the rulers of evil. Only a holy symbol of the Biblical God, like the crucifix (cross) or perhaps the Star of David would be capable of stopping them.
