Why is there a six-pointed star(Star of David?) on Humayun's tomb in Delhi? by Jason Corning
Answer by Jason Corning:
Humayun was the Muslim conqueror of much of India. He styled himself after King Solomon who is highly revered in Islam. In a addition, the six-pointed Star of David (Muslims refer to this same symbol as the Seal of Solomon) was a common religious and cultural symbol in many Islamic countries up until the founding of Israel in 1948. Thus, it should come as no surprise to see a Muslim warrior King decorate his tomb with an ISLAMIC symbol.
