Because India and its majority religion of Hinduism has never really had a substantial Jewish presence for any length of time, many citizens would see nothing wrong with the picture seen below. Indeed this home and its relatively unexplainable combination of religious symbols may have been built prior to World War II. It is only in the West and among the Jews and Christians of Europe and North America that would find this image to be quite eerie and perhaps even horrific. That is Shatkona, Star of Skanda. Union between Shiva and Shakti. Skanda is the son of Shiva and Shakti and commander-in-chief of armies of gods, peacock god. Swastika is Saptarishi constellation.
